Kate and John’s wedding at the Videre Estate was classic Western, edited through a clean, chic lens: thoughtful, tailored, and sunlit from start to finish. Set in the Texas Hill Country near Wimberley, just south of Austin, the estate’s sweeping views and lake backdrop gave their day that wide-open, golden feeling without losing an ounce of refinement.
The design leaned into creamy whites and soft neutrals, letting texture and shape do the talking. Think cloud-like white florals, crisp linens, and that “bright sunny skies” glow that makes everything feel freshly polished. Western details showed up in a way that felt intentional, not themed: classic silhouettes, clean lines, and a little ranch romance, all elevated by the estate’s modern spaces and floor-to-ceiling views.
And then there was the music, the heartbeat of the whole celebration. John’s love of music was woven into the day in the most meaningful way: the band was made up of dear friends, which turned every song into something personal. You could feel it in the way guests leaned in closer during the first notes, and the way the dance floor filled fast and stayed full, not because it was “time to party,” but because it felt like being invited into their inner circle. It was the kind of wedding that balanced tradition with personality, and Western charm with modern restraint, all wrapped up in an effortlessly joyful atmosphere.
